Satyma joined Wise Law in 2023. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2024, after completing her HBA, MA, LLB, and GP LLM.
Satyma practices in all areas of estate-related litigation, including, but not limited to estates administration, guardianship applications, removing executors, and all aspects of estate disputes, including elder abuse, challenging a will, claims for financial support from an estate, claims against executors for negligence and fraud, disputes between beneficiaries, theft and recovery of estate property, and the misappropriation of money belonging to an estate or incapable person.
Satyma also practices civil litigation, including employment law, wrongful dismissal, human rights claims, contract disputes, commercial litigation, privacy breaches, property disputes, personal injury and historical abuse claims.
Through her extensive academic experience, Satyma has acquired a wealth of knowledge in the areas of human rights and workers rights.
She is particularly devoted to defending the rights of marginalized and vulnerable populations, resulting in a sincere determination to conduct through research and analysis in order to engage in strategic advocacy.
Satyma enjoys running, bringing enchantment into her home by transforming into various Disney characters with her children, experimenting in the kitchen with healthy vegan eats, and exploring the world.
Satyma is fluent in English, Hindi and Urdu.
