Paul Adam, Associate Lawyer

Paul Adam joined Wise Law Office as an associate after his Call to the Bar in 2015. Before, he articled at a boutique litigation firm in Hamilton, Ontario.

Paul Adam obtained his Juris Doctor from Queen’s University Faculty of Law in 2014 and joined Wise Law Office after his Call to the Bar in 2014.

Paul Adam primarily practices in the areas of Estate Planning, Estate Litigation, and Civil Litigation. He assists clients with preparing both simple and complicated Last Wills and Powers of Attorney, with guardianship applications, and administering estates. He pursues and defends all manner of estate litigation cases, including will challenges, removing executors, support claims against estates, misappropriation of estate funds, and interpretation or variation of wills.

He also handles many different civil matters including commercial litigation, construction and real estate litigation, human rights complaints, sexual misconduct and historical sexual abuse claims, contract disputes, neighbour disputes and personal injury matters.

Paul appears before all court levels in Ontario, the Social Justice Tribunals, and the Court of Appeal.

Paul believes in taking an individualized approach to each client, whether it is in preparing a simple will, or preparing for a complex trial. He believes that the reward for preparing meticulously on every file is being able to tell a powerful story on behalf of his clients.

Outside of Wise Law Office, Paul can be found involved in his local Jewish community, gardening with his two children, baking, and complaining about the Blue Jays. His cases and viewpoints have been covered in The Toronto Star and CityTV and elsewhere.
